In this day and age, there are many people looking to make easy money off of vulnerable people. new technology has made it easier and easier to create scams that are more and more difficult to ignore. one of the scams that I've seen many times is texts that I receive asking me to pay a toll. This scam catches people off guard, and some might pay the "toll" without considering if they actually owe anything. I've mostly avoided these scams because I know if/when I pass a toll road and how to pay for it. These scams an easily be avoided by slowing down and digging deeper into what they are asking for. Many scams don't hold up under pressure, so don't hesitate to ask questions.
